Supply Chain Coordinator

Interstates is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Team. The Supply Chain Coordinator will support our project teams by being the point person for all supply chain needs.

• Lead kick-off meetings with internal teams and vendors
• Set expectations for equipment and material schedules with internal teams and vendors
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors through regular check-ins
• Solicit and review quotes for accuracy
• Provide bid analysis and recommendations
• Act as the point person for all supply chain needs of the project teams
• Other duties may be assigned

• 2- or 4- year degree in supply chain management, business, or related technical degree
• Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and take initiative to seek out additional tasks

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience negotiating with vendors
• Construction background supporting a supply team (highly preferred)
• Bluebeam software experience

Location/Travel: This position is located in either our Omaha, NE, Sioux Falls, SD or Sioux Center, IA offices. Travel will be required up to 25% of the time. Travel is typically 1-2 nights, several times a month.
